Taman Negara
The heart of Pahang holds one of the eldest tropical forests in the world called the Taman Negara. The Taman Negara is a national park and offers jungle trackers endless trails to enjoy untouched jungle and bush. Visitors can only enter the Taman Negara with local guides, who are well versed in the local flora and fauna.
Pahang Beaches
Pahang offers an extensive coastline bordering the South China Sea and stretches for nearly 200 kilometers along the Malaysian East Coast (Pantai Timur). With the beach area comes a thriving hotel and resort industry which by far is not as developed as in other parts of the world, which offers a unique charm to the coastal areas of Pahang.
Pahang Forests & Lakes
Pahang, is one of the densest forested areas in Malaysia, it is not for nothing known as the Green State of Malaysia. From the Cameron Highlands, The Genting Highlands and Fraser’s Hill to the Taman Negara – the garden of the country, one of the oldest rainforest in the world. Pahang has incredible natural resources and natural features.
In between the rolling landscape large lakes and rivers can be found. Lake Chini is among the most famous and located in the central part of the state.
